First, news. What I originally percieved to be a sinus problem is turning more into what seems like a cold. So, I'm sick with a cold in summer, and COMPLETELY miserable...Tissues, coughdrops, menthol rubs, everywhere....I blame Canada...and the economy. Yeah, that must be it...

Lightning flashed, illuminating the dark den and casting a vivid shadow on the wall before him. With a smirk, he placed his teacup down on it's saucer, and folded his hands, unsuprised.

"My, but the hour is late. What brings you here? China?" The room bristled with angry energy, melding perfectly with the snap and crackle of the fire. The lighting flashed again, showing the shadow stood very rigid, seemingly fixated upon him.

"Hong Kong," China replied cooly. "Give. Him. Back."

England's smile grew wider as he stood up to face his intruder, hand gracing the back of his chair. "I'm afraid I can't do that. You see, he's very valuable to me..." he tsked, "You know, it's quite rude to show up unexpectedly. You should have at least payed a proper visit. Then again, you were always rather uncivilized..."

China's patience was wearing thin as he stared down the green-eyed Englishman. "What's valuable is my family, and I'm taking him home, now. By force, if I have to, aru..."

England's eyes glinted viciously, "Oh, I don't think you can do that, Yao..."

The look on China's face was fiery. "My empire is vast, Yīng guó, and my people many..." England's eyes barely had time to arch his eyes in amusement before Yao was behind him, hands closed around his neck. "I am more powerful than you think..."

(Long drabble is long! Gah! I had too much fun with that! England's a little cuckoo since America recently left. Dark!China/England, YAY! This just gave me the courage to right real fanfiction! Yīng guó is Chinese for "England")
